I help you celebrate your partnership your way. Together, we create your ceremony by discussing who you are, your time together, and how you would like your relationship acknowledged in front of your friends, family, and/or other witnesses. Whether you want something quick and easy or something more complex, I will help make sure your ceremony meets your needs and be there to guide you through on the day.
Get in touch for a no obligation discussion about how I can help with your marriage or civil union ceremony.

To help your day run smoothly, I'll help guide you through the important details before and on the day.
We start with a no obligation initial meeting in Birkdale, Grafton, or via Video Conference. This helps you decide whether I am the right fit for you and your day.
After we meet, I'll send through a draft outline of the wedding ceremony we have discussed. We will then work together to finalise the finer details before the big day.
Ease your nerves ahead of the wedding day and iron out potential wrinkles by having a run through ahead of time. We will keep this relaxed and have a few laughs along the way.
On your wedding day, I will lead you and your guests through the ceremony that we have planned together.
Part of my role as a registered Marriage and Civil Union Celebrant is ensuring that the relevant legal requirements are met on the day of your ceremony. The broad brush strokes are briefly outlined below, we'll go into a bit more detail when we meet.
We can't have a marriage or civil union ceremony without you. More specifically though, we need to know that we have the right people. Appropriate photo ID ahead of time can take care of that.
Marriage licences can be ordered online up to 3 months ahead of a ceremony. You need to order and pay for this yourselves. You will need to include your celebrant's name and your ceremony venue. It's a good idea to include an alternate venue in case your ceremony needs to be moved.
You will need two witnesses. There are a few criteria that witnesses need to meet, but we can discuss these in our meeting.
While you can write your own vows, we will need to incorporate a few specific words. The words differ for marriages and civil unions. I'll make sure we have what we need.
The items below may be necessary or useful for your ceremony.
Mic and Speaker Hire
A PA system (a speaker and a linked microphone) will help your guests hear each aspect of the ceremony. If your guest list is large, your ceremony is outdoors, and/or your venue does not include a PA system, I can organise one for the ceremony to help you be heard.
